The Amphitheater in Arles, France

Arles dates back to the Celts, then Creeks followed by Romans, destroyed and ravaged by invasions during the middle ages, Arles was rebuilt during the 12th century. Its magnificence of its medievil mounument is evidence to the wealth of that period. During the 17th ant 18th centuries stately town homes were built giving it the old world charm we find today.
